Zero the Hero

We had a visit from Zero the Hero on our 10th day of school
Learning about how important 0 is to his other number friends.

Learning about b and d

So one of the common mistakes in Kindergarten is mixing up lower case b and d but today we learned a funny trick so we remember!!
Lower case b has a belly with a belly button and lower case d has a dirty stinky diaper!!!

The kiddos laughed so hard and now when they talk about b and d they make the connection!!!

Learning about our Classroom and how we learn!

We came up with the most important ways to act in the classroom, our "essential agreements" and made a promise to follow them by adding our thumb prints to our heart.
